Stats(2784): Like Spawn, the best stats in the game. An eight in their
main power and a seven in their off power. Twenty-one point is a little
expensive, but not so bad you can't use them.
Specials:
* THE BLACK KNIGHT (JW) {C}
Acts as a level 3 Fighting attack. May make 1 additional Power card
attack. Neither attack may be defended with a Special card.
With so many defensive special teams(Spawn, Invisible Woman),
this card has a great effect. The first attack is ok, but then you can follow
up with up to an eight. I use two.
* HERCULES (JP) {C}
Heroes For Hire's Hits to K.O. is increased by 4 and Heroes For Hire is
-1 to all actions for remainder of game.
I don't use this card. It was useless before, and now with the
dead is dead rule, it is totally useless.
* THE HULK (JC) {U}
Acts as a level 5 Strength attack. Heroes For Hire may play 1
additional Special card.
A level 5 attack in a power that I can already make an eight.
No thanks.
* IRON FIST (AS) {R} [OPD]
Acts as a level 11 Fighting attack. Heroes For Hire may not attack for
remainder of battle.
Why would you not use an eleven?
* POWER MAN (AD) {U}
Avoid 1 Strength or Energy attack.
Too limited.
* WHITE TIGER (HY) {C}
Acts as a level 6 Fighting attack. If successful, Target Character must
discard 2 cards of opponent's choice. Cards may be Placed or in
Hand.
One of my favorite cards to play with. Good attack with an
excellent bonus, but please play it right. I have seen people play this as
the first card from their hand. No, no, no. Save it until your opponent
has used his best defense then play it watch thier face sink as they have to
discard and then concede. Yeah, baby! Overall: Heroes for Hire rank as the best in the
strength class, maybe even the top offensive character in the whole game.
They are a lot of fun to play and go well with any strength or fighting team.
They will certainly be a target for your opponent so you may want to think
about a good defensive character(Spawn, The Morlocks) or a good defensive
battlesite(The Outback) to play alongside them.
