Azrael

Stats(5833): Not real great stats. Azrael is limited to fighting only teams mainly. The eight of course is a big help, but no off-power with a six or greater hurts.

Specials:
* AVENGING ANGEL (CS) {U} Choose 1 Universe card, excluding Teamwork or Training, from Draw Pile and place in hand. Reshuffle Draw Pile.
What, a Basic Universe or an Ally? No thanks.
* BATTLE ARMOR (AD) {C} Avoid 1 Fighting or Strength attack.
These are stupid avoids. Too limited.
* DIVINE INSPIRATION (AM) {R} Azrael gains a +2 to defense for remainder of battle.
I have stated this before, but this special has little use.
* FLAMING SWORD (AE) {R} Acts as a level 4 Energy attack. May combine with 1 Strength card for a single attack.
Still no real good specials for Azrael.
* KNOW MY WRATH (AS) {R} [OPD] Acts as a level 10 Fighting attack.
Finally a usable card. A level 10 attack is always welcome in any of my decks. I wish that there were more OPD's like this one.
* THE SYSTEM (DU) {VR} [OPD] Azrael may make 2 Power card attacks at +2 each, or 1 Power card attack at +3. Bonus not applied to damage, or Venture Total.
Not a bad special, but it would be better if it was just extra attacks instead of power card attacks. Use it if Azrael is on the front line.
Overall: Azrael's only good points are his 8 in his grid and "Know My Wrath", which is good enough for a reserve character only. A typical DC offering.
